AFA-CWA flight attendants and other airline workers in California are standing strong with California Senator Barbara Boxer.

At a news conference at Burbank International Airport, Stan Kiino and Lindsay Tucker, AFA-CWA Local 29011, United, San Francisco; Linda Toscano-Rountain, Local 29012, United, Los Angeles, and Northwest/Delta LEC President Les Meeks, Local 29098, were on hand to thank Boxer for her support for airline workers and to work for her re-election to the U.S. Senate.

Boxer understands and supports airline professionals issues, Tucker said. She “reintroduced legislation to establish uniform flight attendant security training as well as requiring FAA certification of flight attendants.”
