Dependent Verification Audit

Greetings:

You recently received a packet, in connection with the Dependent Verification Audit, that outlined the eligibility guidelines for your Class I dependent(s) covered by the Alcatel-Lucent Medical Plan.  Thanks to many of you who contacted the C&T office, we discovered that the eligibility guidelines incorrectly requested that you must provide "Proof of Financial Dependency" for your Class I dependent(s).  As a result, you will be receiving letters that inform you that proof of financial dependency for Class I dependents is not required.  Therefore, please disregard the request for proof of financial dependency for Class I dependents.  The exception is dependents classified as Disabled Adult Child, for whom proof of financial dependency is still required.
