D3 Bargaining: What real unity looks like.
In February, Unity@Mobility members from across the country stood together in solidarity to support District 3 contract negotiations.
From every district, members shared pictures signing the number “3” to show their support. With the whole Unity@Mobility family behind them, the D3 negotiation team was able to reach an agreement with AT&T for a new contract.
Ratified in March, the new four-year contract includes an 11% wage increase over the next 4 years, an agreement to schedule 40 hours over five days instead of six, and a new rule that guarantees 48 hours notification of any schedule changes.
Now in effect, this contract serves AT&T Mobility members in nine Southeastern states: 11,500 Mobility workers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
The contract also makes a major step forward for D3, as well as Mobility workers nationwide and helps move the needled on the issues U@M is fighting for.
Thank you to all the U@M members who stood with us during the negotiation.
