CWA Local 9423 - Mobilization Activities - June 1, 2006
Louie Rocha, President CWA Local 9423 sent in the following mobilization report.
On June 1st, CWA Local 9423 members conducted a "practice strike" at the Avaya building in Milpitas, California. Many managers expressed surprise at the large turnout. The picketers included dozens of AT&T members who practice the basic union principal, An injury to one is an injury to all! As we left, the crowd chanted- "We'll be back!"
