CWA Local 6402 activists receive award

In July 2014, Sunflower Community Action, a grassroots organization aimed at promoting racial and economic equality, honored activists from CWA Local 6402 for their “Exemplary Commitment to the Pursuit of Justice, Equality, and the Changing of Lives.”

The recipients are a part of T-Mobile United (TU), a group of CWA members working tirelessly to ensure that they can enjoy representation rights like their brothers and sisters at AT&T.

Led by Special Assignment Organizer Tammy Chaffee, TU is a growing force for change, adding members and managing a successful intern program dedicated to training call center staff. Learn more about their important work to strengthen T-Mobile workers’ rights and representation on the job:
