CWA Avaya Bargaining Report #6

The Union and the Company met at the Local table and CWA passed several proposals.  

Union passed a proposal on Article 8 - Discrimination  

Union passed a proposal on Article 14 - Safety

Union passed a proposal on electronic tracking devices

Tomorrow the Union and the Company will be discussing Healthcare in subcommittees.  Also, the Sub Committee will reconvene on the Customer Care issues.

CWA also request additional data on Article 25 - Employee in Military Service or Active Duty for Training.

Remember we need everybody to give us a strong strike authorization. 

May 23rd is right around the corner, please continue to mobilize.  Turn up the heat.  Work to the rule, work safe and give the best customer service.
