CWA-AT&T MOBILITY BARGAINING REPORT #16

The Company and Union met long enough today for the company to reject almost all of our proposals from yesterday.

In case you forgot, they were as follows: New Letters of Agreements were passed on Commissions specific to quota relief, targets, raising the floor and charge backs; Pensions; 401K; Success Sharing Plan-similar to what was agreed upon in the National Bargained Benefits Plan Agreement for year 2015; Subcontracting/Staffing Commitment which would establish a “watermark” stating the company would need to maintain the current employment headcount levels. The proposal would also force the Company to increase headcount by 20% above the referenced watermark over the life of this agreement and cease the use of contractors if and when the employment headcount level falls below the established watermark. Proposals on Article 14-Force Adjustments; Articles 6-Management Rights and Article 26-Waiver of Further Bargaining were also presented along with an Economic Proposal to address wage increases, compressed wage scales and a ratification bonus. With less than 48 hours to go before the contact expirations, the Union made it very clear to the Company that their rejections are not considered bargaining. The Union made it clear that our members needs is not being addressed and that we would not tolerate their incredible sense of greed taking priority over what our members deserve.

In every one of our bargaining reports we stated that “bargaining resumes……” We are scheduled to meet with the Company tomorrow, Saturday, February 9th. The bargaining committee hopes the Company comes to do just that.

STAY INFORMED. BE PREPARED. EXPECT THE BEST
