C&T Locals Week in Review

Mobilization reports are pouring in from all around the country.  We can't stress enough how important it is to have 100% participation from the Locals.  Here are some quick examples of what is going on around the country.

6151, 7250 & 2252 reported daily (some hourly) stand-up accompanied by clickers.

1152 walk in to work together every day.

3166 is wearing arm bands.

7750 members are coordinating breaks and walking out together.

1062 passed out mini picket signs letting the Company know they are ready to walk; 7750's signs are shaped like Mickey's head, saying "No Mickey Mouse Contracts"; while 7250's signs focused on active & retiree healthcare.

6151, 6150, 6377 & 6450 have been coordinating actions within their district.

Many Locals reported over 90% participation in wearing red on Thursdays & black on Fridays, while some members are wearing red every day until we get a fair contract.

The rallies/informational pickets have been very successful this week as well.  Many pictures have been posted on the web.

7750 participated in a JWJ action in Denver, and ended up on the TODAY show.

C&T Local Officers and members from 1051, 1058, 1062, 1150, 1152, 1153, 2222, 2252, 3250, 4252, 6150, 7050, 7250, 7750, 13500 & 13550 joined retirees, other unions & the C&T bargaining team for a rally in Oakton, VA.

Thursday Information & Practice Pickets were held around the country.  2252 Richmond, VA; 4340 Columbus, OH; and 7250/7200 Minneapolis, MN have reported so far.
