Avaya Call Center Mobilization - Local 7777

Today when Avaya management came to the bargaining table, they got a few surprises thanks to CWA Local 7777, Denver.

The conference room was transformed with the faces of members’ children covering the wall behind the Union staring at the company, pleading to keep healthcare, jobs, and other benefits for our members.  Additionally, huge pictures of the infamous casket and a cake proclaiming, “It’s about jobs” were boarded on the easel.  Also, the table was adorned with four photo sheets lined directly across from the company chair’s seat.

Once everyone was seated, the Union handed over more than one hundred postcards to Avaya; all addressed to “Mismanagement”. Along with that came a book on overcoming mismanagement and a delicious blood red coffin sucker.  We used the opportunity to thank Avaya for allowing managers like Charles Stafford to motivate our members in action.

What an outstanding job Local 7777!!  Keep up the great work.  Remember Thursday 3:15 pm.
