Avaya Bargaining Report #18
The CWA Bargaining Team is still waiting on a response from Avaya to resume negotiations.
Since the stopping of the clock on Saturday, Avaya representatives have been non-existent, except to return calls with vague responses to items of importance previously submitted by the Bargaining Team.
The flow of information across this web page has been minimal as a result of minimal movement from the Company since the start of negotiations.
As previously stated, we will pass information on as it becomes secured.
The items that we have not agreed to or received responses from are:
Job security.
Successorship language in the event Avaya is sold again or becomes another company.
Return of work to call center and tech center from India and Singapore.
Health care.
401K match of investments.
Certification payment.
Wages.
Pensions.
Avaya Awards.
Alliance funding.
If you are frustrated with the lack of progress in negotiations, feel free to express your frustrations in your workplace or in the field to your FSMs.
In Unity,
Art Frindt
Kevin Kimber
