Avaya Bargaining Report #15
10:50 P.M.
Meeting started with the Company at 9:45 P.M., with Avaya producing their coveted "reject" rubber stamp once again.
The Union's proposals around wages, pensions, savings, VEBA funding and health care for active and retired were all rejected by the Company.
Avaya submitted a nonsensical package related to active member health care that included co-pays, deductibles and premiums.
Both parties have agreed to stop the clock and continue to bargain past the midnight deadline.
Members should to continue to report to work until you are notified differently via this web site.
Make no mistake: Both sides remain extremely far apart.
