Avaya Bargaining Report #12
Avaya continues to insult CWA members and retirees with proposed assaults to our standard of living through loss of wages, reduction of savings plan contributions, suspension of Avaya Award monies, reduction of term pay (VTP) and unmentionable health care costs.
Avaya is not a company in financial disrepair. Avaya is not a company with long term goals seeking our assistance to help through rough times.
Avaya is bent on increasing their wealth at the expense of the individuals – retirees and present CWA men and women – who have helped them and who continue to help them.
We remain far apart on many serious issues that have been reported on since the start of bargaining. Movement is one thing; capitulation is another.
Final day of bargaining begins tomorrow morning, May 23.
