AT&T Mobilization Report #1
Mobilization Report #1 - Opening Bargaining Week
Bargaining opened with AT&T Legacy T March 4, 2015. The Company’s outrageous, retrogressive proposals made Locals across the country leap into action including wearing red, holding educational sessions, worksite meetings and rallies.
Mobilization is the key to our success at the bargaining table.
Here are a few of the great things that were happening:
Local 1058
Set up Union information tables in all three locations. Leaders passed out bargaining flyers and answered members’ questions. Members signed up via www.CWA@ATT.com for bargaining updates. New Jersey is standing strong behind the Bargaining Team.
Local 1150
Members wore red shirts and made noise at 11:50 a.m. to show unity and support for our bargaining team.
Local 1153

Local 6450
Members in the call center posted red "I Support My Bargaining Team" flyers to show visible solidarity. Continued communication through social media, including 6450 closed Facebook group and secure website. Everyone wearing red Thursday received candy. March 4th Stewards, Officers and Legislative Activists rode a bus to the Missouri state capitol, joined brothers and sisters from other CWA and SEIU locals in Missouri for CWA lobby day. Constituents spoke to local politicians about contract expiration and asked for their support, demanded equal pay in 2015 and putting an end to the so-called right to work and paycheck protection legislation in Missouri.

Members wore red in support of bargaining, attended Mobilization training and took pictures showing support for the CWA Legacy T Bargaining Team. Technicians began reminding themselves and each other about the importance of following AT&T safety practices and procedures.

Local 9510
