AT&T "Legacy T" Bargaining Report #16

We had a short formal session today before we broke for Subcommittees.

The Union presented demands on the AT&T Scholarship, Article 32, Safety, and Termination Pay (Article 25).  We also presented a comprehensive proposal on access to jobs created by new and evolving technologies.

That session was followed by two subcommittees – one on Employment Security and one on Articles 41, 45, and 46.

We are expecting a full day tomorrow since the Company says it has a long list of proposals for us.  With expiration drawing nearer, we are hoping things start coming across the table a little faster.

We also hope mobilization is heating up around the country.  Picket signs should have been delivered to every Local by now, and strike assignments should also be taking place in every work location.
