Article 43 Certification Update

This is a success story for our Article 43 techs.  Since January 2007, enrollments have increased by 41, and 47 new certifications have been achieved.  Below are the details:

Employees with 1 certification – 284

Employees with 3 certifications – 67
Employees with 4 certifications – 38
Employees with 5 certifications – 25
Employees with 6 certifications – 8
Employees with 7 certifications – 1

Approximately 37% of the training has been on Company time.  This program is helping our members, both financially and professionally.  CWA views this program as being a success and we congratulate those workers who have participated.  CWA also thanks the Alliance for their work with us and AT&T to help ensure the success of the program.
