Alcatel-Lucent Installers and Retirees Fight Union Busting

Last Friday, July 24, Installation Local 7290 was joined by multiple supporters from local AFL-CIO, trades unions, members and retirees from as far away as Seattle, Washington, as we hand-billed the public at large about Alcatel/Lucent's continuing Union busting tactics, of short-timing our Installers while they subcontract traditional Installation operations at the Omaha and Council Bluffs 911 centers.  As you can see, we protested by distributing flyers notifying passers-by of the threat to Unions and retirees alike.  Our protest against their continuing efforts to break our Union solidarity was noted by the Omaha World Herald.  Attached are photos of your brothers and sisters in solidarity, against Union busting Alcatel/Lucent.  Read the story at:
