Alcatel-Lucent Bargaining Committee Resume - Installation

A Member of CWA Installation Bargaining Unit for 54 years.

(includes 3 years in U.S. Army)

Served Local 4090 as Steward, Area Representative, Vice President, and President.

Local 4090 merged with Local 4050 in 2006.

I currently hold the office of Local Vice President of National Units.

The national units represented by Local 4050/4090 are:

     Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T Legacy T, Avaya

Currently Legislative Chairperson of Local 4050/4090

Served on Installation Contract Bargaining in 1980, 2002 and 2004.

Organized MBCI (now SBC Global Services) in 1986.

Bargained the contracts for that unit in 1986, 1989 and 1991.

Have held Stewards Training and contributed to Officer Training.

Have successfully filed and won cases for members at NLRB, EEOC, and DOL.

Have successfully arbitrated grievances at the local level.

Have successfully filed Workers Compensation cases for members.

Have successfully processed hundreds of member grievances.

I am proud to be a member of the CWA Installation Bargaining Unit and have and will continue to do what I can to make a better work place and work life for Installers.
