A Letter from EGPAF's Uma Mehta

Dear AMAZING CWA Representatives,

As some of you may know, next Friday, July 29 is my last day with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. I have tremendously enjoyed my 5+ years with this amazing organization, most especially being able to work with the Communications Workers of America.

Many of you I've just met over email, and some of you I've had the pleasure of visiting with at convention. Regardless, ALL of you have inspired me with your tireless dedication to your union, your communities, and to bettering the lives of women, children and families around the world. The Foundation is lucky to count you as an individual, and CWA as an organization, as part of its family of supporters.

Upon my departure, AZ Tice will be taking over as the day-to-day liaison between CWA and EGPAF. If you had the pleasure of meeting her at convention this year, you already know that she's absolutely amazing, and committed to serving CWA's needs. Beyond AZ, our new Director of Marketing and Corporate Sponsorships, Jill Ryan, will also be providing "behind the scenes" support, focused more on strategy and coordinating with the executive office.
