Bargaining Report #1 - AT&T NIC

Sisters and Brothers,

We began face-to-face bargaining for a subsequent agreement for the NIC. Your committee is sorting through the voluminous information provided by the Company from our initial information request. The Union also passed twelve (12) proposals, so far, in which we are addressing wages, healthcare, job security and other improvements that have been communicated to us through the bargaining demands we received.

We met with the Company twice and will resume negotiations in the morning. We remain committed to getting a fair and just agreement for the membership.
