AT&T Mobility Orange Contract 2017 Bargaining: Report 56
AT&T passed CWA several proposals this week and our Committee spent the week reviewing the proposals along with our open data requests to see what AT&T has still failed to provide us.
As we previously reported, CWA has filed several charges against AT&T Mobility for repeatedly violating the National Labor Relations Act, including failure to provide information that we are entitled to in order to make proposals that address the issues our members will be facing over the life of the new Agreement we are negotiating. In fact, as of now, Mobility has not provided much of the information CWA has requested during this bargaining.
At this point in the negotiations, the most concerning issue is AT&T’s refusal to address growing and maintaining good jobs. They refuse to make a commitment to you, their employees.
Look for information coming out soon about our next Mobility Town Hall Call where we can discuss the latest developments in negotiations.
As a point of information: An email you received from AT&T HR on September 26th, and that an alert member sent to our Committee, has caused confusion over the statement in it that it “terminates eligibility for new hires under the program” and goes on to say that “new hires receive benefits under the AT&T Disability Income Program” which is not a program under the Orange Agreement. The Disability plans have not changed.
Thank you for your continued support. When we FIGHT, we WIN!
