Bargaining Report #5

Today the Union passed proposals on Article 22 to improve the vacation language.  We passed proposals in Article 41 to add certifications and in Article 43 to increase certification levels. Other proposals passed in Article 43 included Sunday differential, shifted tour differential and minimum interval differential for NTS and IDC techs, as well as a proposal for on-call payment increases in Article 43. We passed proposals to enhance the benefits of Article 33. 

We engaged in lengthy discussions on each proposal and answered all the Company’s questions.

The company offered no proposals today.

Bargaining resumes Monday and we will continue to bargain for a fair and just contract for all.
