The bargainers met today and exchanged some proposals. The Company passed a response to our request to put into the contract that the company must allow people to see their personnel records within 30 days. They made a small amount of movement on the existing language.

As Locals around the country are counting their strike votes, signs that had been mailed out to all the Locals were posted on the wall facing the Company bargainers today: ?CWA on STRIKE for the American Dream at AT&T.?

We had a very long day at the table today but, we are sorry to say, very little was accomplished that moved us any closer to an agreement.

Mobilization is in high gear for the final week of bargaining for new contracts at AT&T East, Midwest, West and Legacy; contracts expire April 7. CWA locals and members are holding rallies and planning lots of actions to support bargaining teams this week and next.

The AT&T and CWA bargaining teams did not meet together today. We are working on proposals and responses to the Company demands.
