The kickoff for District 3 Mobility Bargaining is Monday, March 29, 2010. This bargaining will cover 12,000 plus employees in District 3's nine state area. For updates, visit http://district3.cwa-union.org/barg-mobe/mobility-bargaining.html.

CWAers in District 3 ratified a new three-year agreement covering 35,000 CWA-represented workers at AT&T Southeast, the BellSouth Telecommunications unit. The settlement was ratified by a 65 percent vote.

On January 14, 2010 CWA had our first official meeting with the Job Satisfaction Committee, agreed to under the Orange Contract. Lois J. Grimes-Patow, Administrative Director at CWA and Representative Krystal Sturm, from the Evansville, IN call center, met with the company.

I am pleased to announce that Dave LeGrande, OSHA Director for CWA, and Orange Bargaining Team member Joe Sison, have agreed to serve on the Mobility Orange Safety Committee.
