Please see the article in this issue of OSHA QuickTakes highlighting the U.S. Department of Labor's settlement agreement with Verizon in the September, 2011 electrocution/fatality case of Local 1109 member Doug Lalima. CWA's Occupational Safety and Health Department will be working with District 1 to ensure the provisions in the settlement agreement are adhered to and expanded throughout the U.S.
