SUNY Empire State College is now accepting applications for the Morton Bahr Online Learning Scholarship for the coming academic year. The Bahr online scholarship supports the educational goals of union members and other workers by enhancing access to higher education through distance learning. Students who receive the scholarship will study online through Empire State College's Center for Distance Learning.

Workers and unions around the world have donated thousands of toys, clothes, diapers and gift cards to ensure the families of striking workers have a happy holiday season. The gifts are being distributed to CWA and IBEW workers throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
