Last week, dozens of young workers and mentors from every CWA district and sector gathered in Cleveland, Ohio, for the CWA Next Generation Young Activists Forum, the first in-person event for Next Gen in more than three years.

During this month, we honor the contributions and sacrifices of AANHPI workers to the labor movement and recognize the ongoing fight for justice and equality.

Last Friday, workers at The Trevor Project, an organization that works to end suicide among LGBTQ+ young people, won voluntary recognition after an overwhelming majority of them signed cards indicating their desire to form a union with CWA.

In honor of Women’s History Month, the CWA Human Rights Department is hosting a special virtual event on Tuesday, March 21, at 7pm ET, with Ellen Cassedy, a labor leader of the renowned 9to5 Movement.

March is Women’s History Month. As part of the celebration, a group of CWA activists attended the International Women’s Alliance (IWA) Political Conference in Washington, D.C.
