CWAers nationwide are working hard to push the U.S. Senate to act on a measure giving public safety officers collective bargaining rights. Hundreds of phone calls and handwritten letters have been sent to Senators, pressing for a vote on the bill.
AFA-CWA Files Interference Charges Against Delta; Seeks Rerun Election

AFA-CWA filed formal interference charges with the National Mediation Board this week against Delta Air Lines, charging that the airline used intimidation and other unlawful tactics to coerce workers and influence the vote during the union election among 20,000 flight attendants. Management Interference Critical Factor in Extremely Close Delta Vote

Fighting against fierce management intimidation, Delta Air Lines flight attendants came within 328 votes of winning an AFA-CWA voice and bargaining rights.
The vote was 9,216 for union representation and 9,544 for no union. The turnout was huge, about 94 percent of the more than 20,000 eligible flight attendants voted in the National Mediation Board election.
