CWA and Cingular reached a tentative 4-year agreement on a new national health care plan covering all 22,000 union-represented employees. If ratified, the plan will replace three existing health plans.

SBC national bargaining got underway in Washington, D.C. this week at the offices of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service.
