CWA members at AT&T Internet in Districts 3, 4, 6 and 9 voted overwhelmingly for strike authorization if a fair contract can't be reached.

Retired CWA Secretary-Treasurer James B. Booe, who helped guide CWA for nearly 45 years died July 9. He was 83. Booe retired as secretary-treasurer in 1992 after having served CWA as secretary-treasurer and executive vice president.

CWA's COPE contest is really taking off. Just since May, when the contest began, there's been an increase of $30,244 for COPE, from new contributors or increased contributions.

CWA's Committee on Civil Rights and Equity has put together a special program for this year's civil rights and equity conference in New Orleans.

Another 186 AT&T Mobility network workers in Puerto Rico now are members of CWA Local 3010, joining CWA through majority sign-up. The former Centennial Wireless Network Department employees work in six different locations across the island.
