This week, the Koch brothers announced that they will spend $889 million in the 2016 elections. It comes out to nearly $1.4 million PER DAY until Election Day 2016.

The so-called 'NLRB Reform Act' would guarantee a perpetual stalemate on the National Labor Relations Board because Sens. Lamar Alexander and Mitch McConnell propose to add a sixth member to it. And, in the House, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is introducing a federal right-to-work bill to "free" workers from paying union dues.

CWA has supported the president in initiatives throughout his presidency. However, we cannot stand with the president in his alliance with Republican Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, House Speaker John Boehner, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Business Roundtable to send more U.S. jobs offshore, undermine U.S. communities and weaken U.S. sovereignty. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) has much more to do with protecting the investment of multinational corporations and maneuvering around China than lowering trade barriers.
