Mitchell inherited his dedication to workers’ rights from his grandparents and parents, who were passionate union members. He is a veteran AT&T employee who began working as a tech in his home state of Michigan in 2015. Mitchell joined the successful organizing campaign of the company’s In Home Experts (IHX) department in 2021 and is now a chief union steward. He’s eager to broaden his horizons and connect with more young workers as a Next Gen Lead.
