Washington, D.C. – Communications Workers of America Vice President Ralph Maly blasted Alcatel Lucent's proposed plan to close the North Andover, Mass., facility (also known as Merrimack Valley) unless union-represented workers find and agree to accept $6.6 million in cost cutting and adjustments.
