Adam Mosley, District 4

Local 4501; Columbus, OH

Adam Mosley works for The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where he is a Facilities Maintenance Associate and a proud member of Local 4501.

Adam sits on the Executive Board and the following committees: Next Generation, Organizing, Women's, and Communication. He is also a shop steward.

Adam credits his Local president Mericle Long with teaching him the importance of letting everyone speak up, even if everyone is not in agreement. Everyone's voice matters and when members feel heard and respected, it benefits everyone.

Adam was inspired to get involved in his union after working non-union jobs and recognizing how much better off he and his co-workers would be if they had a union. "Once I finally had a union job I jumped at the opportunity to get involved. What compelled me to get involved with Next Gen was recognizing the lack of young workers who were involved in my local and wanting to change that. Young workers are the future of the labor movement and we are going to play a major role in accomplishing the changes that we all know are possible."

Adam would like to hear from young members and mentors across District 4. Send him a message below.
