Report: Offshoring Security

This report examines the costs of offshoring for U.S. consumers and the impact on cities and towns that lose valuable jobs. We discuss the security risks of offshoring jobs, including consumers’ financial and medical data becoming vulnerable to theft and misuse by poorly regulated contractors overseas. Action by legislators at the state and federal level is essential because the consequences of offshoring are destructive in many ways, devastating individuals, communities, and the nation.
