On this week's episode we acknowledged April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and we were led in discussion by CWA's Micki Siegal De Hernandez on Worker Memorial Day. We also paid our respects to the late Clara Caldwell and honored her for her contributions to the labor movement. Human Rights committee member Reggie Pierre Louis was spotlighted for his continued activism in District 1. The show wrapped with a conversation surrounding black women in the fight for pay equity and movement building, citing instances from the Atlanta Washerwoman movement in the newly freed south.
