CWA Celebrates Staten Island Amazon Workers’ Historic Win

CWA members know that when workers fight, we win. The Amazon workers at the JFK8 warehouse went toe to toe with one of the world’s largest corporations and won.

For too long, corporations have used their control over the workplace and spent millions on specialized union busting consultants to isolate and divide workers who want to have a union voice. The Amazon workers in Staten Island refused to be intimidated and have demonstrated the strength and power that solidarity gives us. By winning their union vote, they have inspired workers around the world.

But organizing a union and negotiating a contract should not require an extraordinary effort. We need to pass the PRO Act so that all workers in America truly have the freedom to join together in unions to fight for more just and equitable workplaces.
