Advancement Project

TNG-CWA local 32035 (Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild) has won an NLRB representation election at Advancement Project.

Advancement Project is a Washington, DC-based social justice organization. Special Assignment Organizer Melinda Fiedler led the organizing.

PAE Aviation

Workers at PAE Aviation, a government service contractor responsible for performing all aspects of aircraft organizational maintenance on the F-5 adversary program at Naval Air Station Key West, voted for representation with CWA.

The new unit will include 68 F-5 maintenance personnel. Special thanks to local committee members Tim Johnson, Mike Serrano, and Hosea Tripplett, as well as Local 89119 President Jeff Martens.

ASIG

Baggage encoders employed by ASIG at the Orlando International Airport voted overwhelmingly to join CWA. The unit will represent more than 70 workers.

The campaign was led by Local 3108 organizer Carlos Santiago with extensive support and hard work by Local 3108 President Steve Wisniewski and Organizing Committee members Federico Castro, Angel Perry, Curtis Hierro, Riberson Sinsons, and Rick Martini. District 3 Organizing Coordinator Tom Smith, Organizing Coordinator Teresa Casertano, and Florida staffer Reyna Muñoz provided support in the lead up to the vote.
