NOKIA PENSION PLAN MERGER

The T&T Office received the attached notification regarding the merger of the Nokia Retirement Plan (NRP) with the Lucent Technologies Inc. Pension Plan (LTPP). This is NOT merging the occupational pension plan into the management plan. This IS merging the occupational “active” pension plan into the occupational “retiree” pension plan. Since we no longer have an “active” represented group with Nokia, it is appropriate to move the remaining participants, beneficiaries and alternate payees that are in the NRP into the LTPP. This change will be effective January 1, 2022.
