In Memoriam – April 23, 2020

CWA has established a memorial page for members who have lost their lives to COVID-19.

This week we honor the memory of Eunice Oden, a member of CWA Local 1183 who worked for the New York City Board of Elections; Richard Austin, a member of CWA Local 1182 who worked for the New York City Police Department Traffic Enforcement District; John Pong, a member of CWA Local 1037 who worked for the Passaic County Board of Social Services; Cheryl Shingles, a member of CWA Local 1081 who worked for the Essex County Welfare Board; Carol Ryer, a member of CWA Local 1182 who worked for the New York City Police Department Traffic Enforcement District; Nicole Varlow-Graves, a member of CWA Local 1000 who worked for Verizon; Cynthia Moss, a member of CWA Local 1000 who worked for Verizon; Dr. Gene Nebel, a member of CWA Local 1040 who worked for Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital; and Jason Lewis, a member of CWA Local 1182 who worked for the New York City Police Department Traffic Enforcement District.
