Wow, Amazing Job!!

CWA Locals did an incredible job this year of fundraising for our Charity of Choice, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF).  In 2012  you raised $277,010.36, an almost $25,000 increase over 2011, and a couple hundred dollars shy of what we was raised in 2010 when we had 57,000 more members.  I couldn’t be prouder of the work you did. 

We had 49% of our locals donate compared to 46% last year.  We had 40 Locals that were brand new contributors.  Five of the seven Districts increased their percent of participation.  District 7 led the way with 65% of their locals contributing.  We had set a goal of increasing our local participation by 5% and we came close.  So let’s make it happen this year and push over the 50% mark.  Let’s shoot for another 3% increase. 

At Convention in Pittsburg you will hear more amazing stories about the work that EGAF is accomplishing.  As in 2012 we will continue to share updated information about the foundation’s work and you will hear more often directly from EGPAF.  This year the country we will be sharing more information on is Kenya so watch for those updates.
