Weekly Payday Processing
May 31, 2006
Payroll has been notifed that your exception time reporting for the week ending May 27, 2006 was not processed. This error created under payments on your paycheck payable June 2, 2006.
What this means to you:
As a result of this error, if you reported exceptions (per diem, overtime, night work bonus, shift differential, etc.) for pay period ending May 27, 2006 you are underpaid.
You will receive one paycheck for a standard workweek payable on June 2, 2006, or for the installation populatio n, June 1, 2006. If you are due $100 or more, you will also receive a net advance payment. This payment will be sent to you in the same method as your regular paycheck. Therefore, if you normally utilize direct deposit (EFT) that is the means by which the monies will be delivered. If you normally receive a paper check, that is the means by which the monies will be delivered as well.
Effective with your paycheck payable June 9, 2006, exceptions reported for the pay periods ending May 27, 2006 and June 3, 2006 will be processed. The exception time reporting for week ending May 27, 2006 will be offset by a pay advance deduction. Therefore, if you received an advance payment, that amount will be deducted on your June 9, 2006 paycheck.
We regret this situation occurred and have placed additional controls in the Payroll system to prevent this from recurring in the future.
Please contact your supervisor or area operations manager should you have additional questions.
