SHAREHOLDERS MEETING - CORRECTION

On August 9, we notified you of the date and location of the Avaya Shareholders Meeting.  The meeting will be held on September 28, 2007 at the Hotel du Pont, Wilmington, not Dover as we previously stated.  The address of the hotel is Hotel du Pont, 11th and Market Streets, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.  You can get directions at the following url: http://www.dupont.com/hotel/about_directions.htm

I plan to speak at the meeting on behalf of our members. I want to hear what the new owners have to say concerning the business going forward and what role our members will play in the new merged company. Those locals planning to attend, who have Avaya stock, will be able to attend the meeting, however, if some of you do not, then you should notify my office.  Also, we are asking those attending to wear red.

We have not reached an agreement yet on the elimination of the ESPP.  We met on Monday and Tuesday of this week and are now waiting for the company to respond to our latest proposal.
