Newly organized AT&T Local - Monmouth Junction CMC

The newly organized AT&T Local Services Customer Maintenance Center members in New Jersey recently ratified their first contract, with over 92% voting in favor of the agreement.   For the first time, they will be put on a 60 month pay progression, which will lead to both higher salaries for a majority of the workers and begin to level out the huge pay disparity that was a major issue in the organizing drive.  Laura Unger, CWA Staff Representative bargained the agreement with the help of Nancy Brett, the key 1150 organizer of the group.  Nancy also led the contract explanation meetings with Secretary Treasurer, Bob Swanson handling the vote.
