Merrimack Valley
We regret to inform you that Alcatel-Lucent has rejected CWA's $33 million in savings proposal in an effort to keep the Merrimack Valley Facility open. This was the last CWA Manufacturing Facility in the United States. The company is obligated per the Collective Bargaining Agreement to bargain over issues of Facility Closing. We will be moving forward with that bargaining.
