It Gets Better

Do you know about the "It Gets Better Project?"

It's a national campaign encouraging Americans to speak out against hate and intolerance with the message that everyone deserves to be respected for who they are.

The project is a response to the horrific number of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender teens who are being bullied so relentlessly in their schools and their communities that it leads them to commit suicide.

In his video message, CWA President Cohen says "what we need to do is stand up for each other. There's no place for bullying in our schools, our communities, our workplaces or our military."

Anyone can contribute a short video message that offers teens a message of hope that "It Gets Better." The website, www.itgetsbetterproject.com, also provides other resources for teens and others who are being subjected to bullying.
