Evaluation of AT&T's Electrical Awareness/Hazards Education/Training

Thank you for agreeing to assist the CWA Communications and Technologies Office and the Union's Occupational Safety and Health Department in the evaluation of AT&T's electrical awareness/hazards education/training.  Your efforts will help ensure the safety, health and well-being of all Company/Union-represented technicians.

CWA's investigation to identify the quality and type of electrical awareness/hazards education/training provided by AT&T is the direct result of reports and electrocution and near-miss cases involving the Union's members.  As a way of ensuring the Company is providing technicians with comprehensive electrical awareness/hazards education/training and helping to prevent future incidents, CWA is conducting an investigation to determine how well AT&T is in conformance with this important need.

The Union's goal is to ensure that represented technicians are returning home in the same physical and mental condition in which they began their work.  Your completion and return of the attached questionnaire to CWA's Occupational Safety and Health Department for review and analysis would be greatly appreciated.  After this work is completed, the results will be shared with the Union's leaders and members as well as AT&T's safety and health personnel.
