CWA Retired Members' Council Annual Meeting will be on July 24 in Washington, DC

This is the Official Call to the 2010 Annual Meeting of the CWA Retired Members’ Council to be held in Washington, DC on Saturday, July 24 at the Washington Hilton.

We hope you will be able to attend. In addition to carrying out the official business of the Council, delegates will hear presentations on topics such as the upcoming midterm elections and the Union Privilege program. Further, there will be workshops on Sunday morning. (Subjects to be announced later)

The CWA Convention and Legislative-Political Conference follow the Annual Meeting. As always, retirees have priority seating at the Convention. And members of the Council’s Executive Board are Convention delegates with voice and vote.

If you are a Council lifetime member who is not affiliated with a chapter, click here to download the credential form. Be sure to mail or fax the credentials by Friday, July 9 and to bring a copy with you to Washington. (Chapter members who are interested in attending should contact their chapter president.)

Guest Credential Form

Location and Housing Information

The headquarters hotel is the Hilton Washington and the rates are $209 per night. Make your reservations by calling 202.483.3000. The cut-off date is June 30, 2010.
