CWA AT&T Internet Services Bargaining Report #17

The Company rejected the Union’s revised proposals on title upgrades for Customer Assistants, Dispatchers, Surveillance Technicians and Internet Assistants.  The Company also rejected the Union’s proposal on Overtime and Differentials.  Additionally, the Union passed a proposal regarding Retiree Benefits.

In an effort to break the log jam, the Union tentatively agreed to a National Transfer Plan and Internal Transfer Plan.  The Company will promote the CWA NETT Academy Training Program and will reinforce new hire notification to the Union.  After nearly a month of bargaining we have finally reached a TA on a few of the Union’s demands.  We still have a long way to go before contract expiration Saturday at midnight.

The Bargaining Team informed the Company of the overwhelming strike vote authorization and that the entire membership is actively involved and fully informed of these negotiations and they expect a fair and just contract.

In Unity,

Your CWA Bargaining Team
