Chatting with the Candidate

Mark Warner, Democratic candidate for governor in Virginia, dropped by CWA headquarters Aug. 16 to answer questions and thank the union for its support. “I’m grateful for your friendship. I’m grateful for your support. I won’t forget it,” he told CWA national leaders and local presidents from Virginia. CWA members are knocking on doors, making phone calls, leafleting and doing whatever else is needed to elect Warner and, in the New Jersey’s governor’s race, worker-friendly candidate Jim McGreevy. The gubernatorial elections are the two biggest political races in the country this year.
