Jamison retired from the union on Sept. 1, 1982, and returned to the Phoenix and Scottsdale area before moving to Washington state a few years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Jane, and five sons, Craig of Dallas, Tex., Carl of Parker, Colo., John of Phoenix, Clifford of Denver, and Claude of Seattle. Both Claude and John are CWA members employed by U S West.
